Bentaus Founder & CEO Robert Davidoff will be speaking alongside David Chernis, Director of Flexible Compute Platforms at CPower, on April 14th at Transition AI 2026 in San Francisco.
Their session, “Turning Data Centers into Grid Assets,” will present a CPower case study exploring how data centers can support near-term grid capacity through on-site energy resources and flexible load participation in demand response programs.
As data centers continue to scale rapidly, they are projected to account for up to 17% of U.S. electricity demand by 2030, placing increasing pressure on an already constrained grid. This session will highlight real-world examples of data centers—traditionally viewed as inflexible loads—and explore emerging innovations in flexible AI compute, where workloads can dynamically respond to grid conditions.
